Ruth's Deck

Took a bit of planning, lots of wood, and even more friends, but we did prevail. First Pam and Cora dug holes for the posts. We filled them with QuickCrete and let them sit while we attached the leger board. That's Sally watching Pam on the ladder, Beth handing Cora some lag screws and Jackie searching for equipment in one of the cars. Dorothy's relaxing (whoops, supervising) out of sight.

Finishing the roofing as the storm moves in. It did pour, and the roof didn't leak.
The cover is done.
Then we built the deck, ramp and railings.
Then, finally, Ruth painted it, and we declared it good.
