Col
Cer gets it's name because the major use of this formula is with colitis and
ulcers or digestive tract disorders. It's good for the digestive tract membrane,
the stomach, the mouth, throat, small and large intestines. Today in the
American diet we eat to many refined carbohydrates that change the pH of the
digestive tract which causes an acidic reaction which starts to digest our own
bodies. Antacids are very commonly used today, but in reality an antacid causes
the body to produce more acid because it's trying to achieve it's normal
pH. It's usual defense is to react with an acid when you use an antacid.
Changing the diet is an important thing to do for digestive tract disorders.
Col Cer soothes the endothelium or digestive track membranes, cold sores and
it's good in thrush with little babies as a mouth rinse. It doesn't taste very
good but it sure makes a big difference with those types of things. People need
to know that with digestive disorders it takes a while to re-build that
digestive tract. You can't just take one magical little pill and it change your
life, it's going to take some time. When I was 18 years old I ended up in the
hospital with bleeding ulcers. The doctors had no clue why I was bleeding
internally so they decided to pack my stomach with ice and irrigate it and then
watch to see if I kept loosing blood. Well, I kept loosing blood and kept
loosing blood so they ran a camera down me and found out that the ulcer was not
in the stomach, it was in the duodenum. The physician struck me as a very honest
man…very unusual, he said "...the therapy that we are using is causing
him to bleed more." (I do not think today you would hear a physician say
that) So they quit packing my stomach with ice and they didn't do a thing, they
let me lie there and I recovered by myself. I often wonder why I was
in the hospital when they were doing nothing and I recovered on my own… oh
well. After I recovered and started doing better the doctors took me in a room
to sit down and started to quiz me to find out why this 18 year old had ulcers.
After our interview and a nice little discussion they started giving me
medication. When I got out of the hospital I continued to take medication until
one day I was filling the prescription at the pharmacy. The pharmacist looked at
me with concern and ask "Are you the one that's taking this formula?"
My response was "yeah, why?" I asked him what it was and he explained
it to me. I found that it did to me absolutely everything I did not like about
myself. I would lie on the couch and think I needed to recover, I was in the
hospital after all, I needed to gain my strength back. That in itself is a
preposterous statement! I was in the hospital to recover from an illness,
why would I possibly need to recover from being in the hospital? Perhaps it was
the food. For the first time in my life it occurred to me that I might be
taking the wrong thing. I was taking Valium. I didn't have any energy...I didn't
care about anything. So I discontinued taking it and you know the interesting
thing is I started to get better because I changed my diet and I changed my
lifestyle. As I got older and the ulcers reoccurred because my lifestyle changed
a little bit, this is the formula that I used and I am no longer plagued with
ulcers. Col Cer has enriched the lives of many people helping them with
diverticulosis, spastic colon, and hemorrhoids, …I could go on and on. For any
digestive tract disorder it's a wonderful formula. Traditional use of the
contents: Golden Seal Rt. & Oregon Grape Rt. are helpful with
ulcers & colitis and promote good intestinal Flora. Myrrh is an
excellent tonic for sores, ulcers, colitis & spastic colon. Cranesbill
Rt. soothes & tones the digestive tract. Marshmallow Rt. soothes
the membranes of the digestive tract.
